Alphabet Text Tutorials
This was the second project I did in the fourth marking period. I liked this project but it was difficult at times to find enough tutorials to use for each letter.
Fire Text Tutorial
For my first project I did the fire text effect tutorial. I found this tutorial fun but challenging.

Final Project
For my final project I decided to make a motivational poster for global warming. It is attempting to bring attention to global warming to people. This poster shows the earth being burned from the outside and it appears to be spreading inward toward the rest of the earth. First I took a picture of the earth and then placed a round of fire around it. Then I used a layer mask to give the appearance of the fire spreading over the earth. This is showing how global warming is getting worse and we are not doing enough to stop it. For the text I wrote global warming and then used a picture of fire and then created the clipping mask to make the text look like it is written in fire.

Art Deco Poster

![]() |
I only used the 'New York part of this picture |
This is the tutorial I did. This is a vintage-looking poster that is supposed to be about world war 2. I thought it was a good idea to have some experience with a vintage poster for this project. I think this tutorial helped me understand effects better in photoshop and helped me to make my art deco travel poster.

Fantasy Poster 1

This is the tutorial website I used
This is the tutorial that I did preceding the fantasy poster. This tutorial was essential to my project because it taught me how to use the color balance and how to darken and lighten colors. It also taught me how to get rid of unwanted pieces in a picture. I chose this tutorial because it was similar to what I wanted to do for my project so it was almost like a warm up for my real project.
