| I started this project with a picture of an ocean and then a separate picture of the sky. Then I added in the castle. Then I cropped out the bottom of the castle and placed it on the water to make it look like it is floating on the water. Then I changed the color using the color balance tool and also the gradient. I darkened every object in this poster project. After all that was done, I added the boat and made it look like it was sinking in front of the castle. Then I put the finishing touches on and that was it. |
This is the tutorial that I did preceding the fantasy poster. This tutorial was essential to my project because it taught me how to use the color balance and how to darken and lighten colors. It also taught me how to get rid of unwanted pieces in a picture. I chose this tutorial because it was similar to what I wanted to do for my project so it was almost like a warm up for my real project.
